Hello, I’m Nicholas!
As a lifelong bug enthusiast, I have always been captivated by the strangely alien world of the insects. From their incredible adaptions to their complex social behavior, I find them endlessly fascinating (although I still shudder involuntarily if one wanders across my skin without warning!)
It’s my hope that by sharing my knowledge and appreciation for these so often overlooked creatures I can inspire others to see the beauty and importance of their all-too-short lives.
Aside from my work as a writer and insect fan, I have a background in graphic design. This allows me to bring a unique perspective when creating educational content for Bug Domain. I strive to present the most accurate and up to date information in clearest possible way.
For those who are interested, my favorite insect is the Praying Mantis. They have such a graceful posture, and I find their angular heads give them a charm unique among the arthropods (although sadly none of my friends think they’re as cute as I do!)
The Mantis is one of the most effective and captivating hunters. They’re just so dangerously elegant!
Bug Domain
I created Bug Domain to share my passion for entomology and to equip my readers with the tools they need to share that passion with others. My articles explore a wide range of insect-related topics with a slant towards introducing people from all walks of life to the world of the very small.
Whether you’re looking for caretaking advice, tips on pest control, or just curious about all that activity in your back garden, Bug Domain is here to help fill the gaps.
It’s my hope that my work here will empower you with the knowledge to make informed decisions when protecting yourself, your family, and our little friends that play such an important role in our ecosystem.
Thank you for visiting. I hope you’ve learned something new!
